me so tired...

well, one of the aspects of my job that i honestly LOVE is making computers that don't work so well nice and happy again...i've been trying to get everyone here at the office up to date and working well because it saves me so much more time in the long run (less errors for them means less panic calls to me)...

Well, Dan has been here at the office now for about 8 months or so and I decided it was time to tackle his computer, upgrade it to the network and make it happy (he has been getting little error windows for while now)...he has Vista on it, so i knew i would be in for a little more work, but I had NO idea how much of a pain in the butt it would end up being...

I started it Friday night and ran into issues with his Mail and getting it backed up (he had many errors i had to scan/fix)...Saturday i had issues with the other backups and Sunday i had issues with the reformat process...i was up until 7:30 AM Saturday Morning and slept for about 3 hours before the girls softball games...then i was up that night until 8:00 am Sunday morning and got about 4.5 hours sleep before Church and then last night i was working on it until about 7:00 am this morning...i slept about 4 hours before getting up to bring it in here and keep working on it...it NEVER takes me this long to get a computer going, so i feel quite blessed :-) (sarcasm intended!)
